The "Thunderpuss 2000" mix is incorrectly marked. It is actually the Jonathan Peters original remix. He did two, the original and the "Soundfactory" mixes. As far as I know, there is no TP mix of this one.
This is one of my "faves of all time!!!"
Oooh, and I just played it and it cuts off at the six minute mark. It's over 9 minutes long.
thanks for the info....i have always wondered about that...i knew that it cut out....it's from a compilation,obviously created by barry harris, so i've probably labeled it tpuss for that reason. so is the version we need the Jonathan Peters Mix or do we need the Soundfactory mix? let me know and i'll try and find it
I checked the Soundfactory mixm too. I don't know where that one came from! It is interesting, but I don't like the "live feel" with the crowd noise in the background. I did not check the Bonus beats. I did, however rip and upload all four mixes (including the radio!) to Mediafire. I noticed that you like 320 kb/s. These are only 192. Feel free to post them. You know...I think that Jonathan Peters Mix may be from his S&M Party collection....or maybe some other Peters compilation...i have all of his box sets on cd, but they have been in storage for a couple of years...could be where that mix came from...i haven't listened to any of them in a very long time, so i'm glad you caught them...I'd say the bonus beats is fine, i probably bought it digitally somewhere...that's usually where i get my "bonus beats" mixes...i'll fix the post and put the songs you sent up...thanks for your help..sometimes when you clean out your trunk, you run across crap you never knew you had:-) i appreciate your info and help!
