So...who exactly is Madison Avenue? I know they've had a bunch of singles--I mainly know them from their dance cover of "More Than This" and I know it's a female vocalist, and that there's a woman on the single artwork. Is Madison Avenue a duo? Are they Belgian?
Cheyne Coates is the female vocal. She's worked alone "I've Got Your Number"....and I know she did the vocals on a track with Soundbluntz called "Maybe You'll Get Lucky". Here's a little more info on Madison Avenue...Duo Madison Avenue became, with one release ("Don't Call Me Baby"), the first Australian dance act to top Aussy and U.K. charts. Madison Avenue is Andy Van (producer/composer) and Cheyne Coates (singer/lyricist). Andy Van was previously known as a high-profile Melbourne DJ and producer and co-owner of Vicious Vinyl records.
The duo ended in 2003, with both members continuing to work on solo projects.
